Operating Notice:

The sensor for PM2.5, PM10 and particles count detection adopt laser detection theory, objects such as batting and hair should be prevented from entering the detector to avoid the accuracy of the data.

Do not put the detector in the environment where the concentration of particles is more than 500ug/m3 and formaldehyde is over 1.0mg/m3 for a long time. Long-time exposure to high-concentration air pollutants will damage the sensor and make it work improperly.

Please put the detector in a ventilated environment for 6 hours when you use it for the first time to avoid the micro interfering gas in the package that may affect the measurements.

Avoid contact with organic solvents which include silica gel and other adhesives, paintings, drugs, oil, and high-concentration gases.

Avoid using the detector in a humid environment.
-
Avoid the device from bumping, striking and dropping.
-
Do not cover the detection port and air outlet port when using the detector.

Be cautious of cross-interference. Formaldehyde sensor adopts high-precision electrochemical sensor due to its electrochemical reaction characteristic, the sensor may react to other gases. Please avoid using the detector in the environment containing the following gases.

What is PM2.5?
Fine particles (PM2.5) are 2.5 micrometers in diameter or smaller, and can only be seen with an electron microscope. Fine particles are produced from all types of combustion, including motor vehicles, power plants, residential wood burning, forest fires, agricultural burning, and some industrial processes
What is PM10?
Coarse dust particles (PM10) are 2.5 to 10 micrometers in diameter. Sources include crushing or grinding operations and dust stirred up by vehicles on road.
Carbon Dioxide (CO₂ )
CO₂ is a greenhouse gas that is natural and harmless in small quantities but as levels rise it can be dangerous to your health. Most commonly produced by the air we exhale, CO₂ levels concentrate indoors with less ventilation.
Exposure to high carbon dioxide levels can cause suffocation by displacement of air, incapacitation and unconsciousness, headaches, vertigo and double vision, inability to concentrate, tinnitus, seizures.
